Watercolor, Pastels, Pen and Ink, Etchings and Ceramics GIF, 75k, TC Like this WEB tome, everything about the art collection is eclectic. There are forty-one individual pieces, eighteen of which are displayed on these three pages. They were bought in six countries, and the artists represent a dozen homelands. The media includes oils, acrylics, clay, pencil, pen and ink, paper, charcoal, tile, watercolor, glass, crystal, rock, mineral and wood. The colors are bright, dull, subtle and bold. The subject-matter spans still-lifes and portraits to landscapes and moonscapes. And the styles? The styles are as varied as the hundred and thirty years that separate the oldest artwork from the newest piece. The collection's only limit has been my pocketbook. From time to time, I'll update the display with other examples. I hope you enjoy what is here. Note: Click on a thumbnail display to view an enlarged graphic. The number of bites, colors and the file format of the lager graphic are annotated beside the smaller counterpart. The WEB page containing the larger graphic also notes the artwork's vital statistics and may include a link to a biographical sketch of the artist. Links to other types of media that make up the collection are located at the bottom of the page. TC= true color.
